One month old Garden!

My Garden!

My Garden!

Holy Moly, this rain has made my garden go NUTZ! The sun is finally out, but a chance of rain is still in the forecast. It was sunny yesterday, but the skies also dumped a load of water out throughout the day. It’s amazing to see some of the plants grow day by day… I just never thought there would be that big of a difference in just 24 hours, or even less really. My pimiento is flowering.. and it looks like the bells are not too far behind.

The tomatoes are coming along nicely.  I now have roma fruit on the plant, and several better boys.  The beans are blossoming, and the sunflowers are getting huge!  It’s hard not to go out and stare at it all the time because it is so beautiful to watch, and honestly, I’m fairly proud of my hard work.  My lettuce is getting bigger and bigger and I have thinned it enough.  Now it’s just a matter of time before it’s ready to pull and eat… though admittedly, I have pulled a couple just to sample, and mmmmm mmmm are they good!

Here’s a close up of the zucchini… HUGE!!!

I look forward to harvesting!  I hope that it comes in a little bit staggered, so I can give away and eat without too much waste.  We’ll see!  Can’t wait to take a picture of a shiny red tomato… that should be in the next couple of weeks! YAY!

Finally, here are my two most favoritest boys in the world.  Walking out to what has become one of my most favoritest places to go to…
